CONFEMADERA organized last day on April 29 a day on Mark in Burgos, the first of a series of talks to be held all over Spain.

These courses shall make known the main concepts related to quality, both products and process, showing in detail the requirements of the CE marking and how best to implement them.Moreover be taught what are the quality requirements of structural materials by the Technical Building Code.

The professionals responsible for providing these talks are John I.Golfines-Fernandez, director of the Department of Forest Products of CIFOR-ini and Marta Garcia Conde, a professor of Wood Technology at the University of Cordoba.In addition, continuous Pons, "the entry into force of the Technical Building Code raises new demands on materials and constructive solutions that the industry should know.

According Francesc de Paula Pons, Secretary General of CONFEMADERA, "the wood sector faces the challenge of incorporating the CE mark to its products for the construction market."
