HABITAT VALENCIA 08 will host the proposal for innovation and design that FEDERMUEBLE has been developing for several years in order to increase the competitiveness of enterprises habitat.

The Federation of Businessmen and Industrialists International Furniture Fair in Valencia will present a space where they can see projects of innovation in materials, production technologies, functionality and aesthetics.

The booth, located in the distributor of Level 2 is designed as a reference guide to all professionals who want to keep abreast of the latest advances in innovation and design.

Participating companies and designers
The booth which is entitled "Innovation and Design", will feature about 15 pieces designed within the programs developed by FEDERMUEBLE.

At the opening of the stand of the day on September 23, will attend at 17:00 hours, among other authorities, Matias Perez Duch, Autonomy Secretary of Industry, Trade and Innovation and Ricardo Peralta, the Government of Valencia.

Innovation and design factors of competitiveness
For several years now, FEDERMUEBLE is promoting between the industry culture of innovation through the implementation of various projects related to design, a factor that has greater every day and that, currently, is a key to the competitiveness of companies.The design allows manufacturers of furniture to get more innovative products and efficient and is becoming one of the features of the new production model and consumption.

Currently, the furniture sector in Spanish is taking place a real technical and aesthetic revolution with the emergence of new products, materials, applications and processes.But to be competitive we must be innovative, because of this, besides the design, FEDERMUEBLE driving innovation through the Plan for Modernization of the cabinet, which aims to reshape the industry and increase its weight in the Spanish economy, improving the competitiveness of companies.In order for this plan is effective and useful, it is essential to take into account the current problems of the sector and bear in mind not to focus exclusively on public aid but to define the role of associations and companies.
